We hand cut this 10mm stone that weighs approximately 7+ carats in the Asscher Cut; also known as the Infinity stone for the optical illusion you see when you look into the face of the stone. The facets are multi-layered and appear to continue endlessly.

We handmade the sterling silver pendant using a wire basket style setting head and soldered on the fluted silver bail. ♡ STONE HISTORY:
- The Asscher shape (originally cut in diamond) was developed in 1902 by the Asscher Brothers of Holland and is a variation of an Emerald cut. The Asscher cut is a stepped square cut also known as a Modified Square Emerald cut. This cut offers a small table (largest facet on a stone) high crown (top portion of the stone) deep pavilions (lower portion of the stone), and cut corners. With its 72 wide step facets it resembles that of an octagon and sparkles like the Round Brilliant. This cut is designed to draw your eye directly into the stone. With the Asscher cut, when you look directly into the face of this stone, it seems to go on & on and you see the layers or multidimensional facets of the cut.
