Our Amethyst Trillion Argentium ring is 100% handmade by us. Our gemstone ring features a very lively 1.65 carat Checker-board cut Natural Amethyst Gemstone, which is set in our hand-made Argentium silver ring. We hammered the shank for texture and strength. This is not a flimsy ring. The ring shank is 2mm wide and 1.25mm thick. Our birthstone ring is a very meaningful gift for anyone born in February as Amethyst is February's birthstone. ♡ ARGENTIUM:
Argentium silver is purer than sterling and is very tarnish resistant, requiring only an occasional wipe with a soft cloth. The hammered detail gives a nice texture -and offsets the smoothness of the stone. While hard to capture in the pictures, the table (top) f the gemstone has a checker-board facet design that compliments the shank texture very nicely.

We used a sterling silver basket style open box setting head, which will allow maximum light to enter the stone and be reflecting back to the eye as brilliance and fire. This is a very nice stone with some flashes of red fire.
