| How about a gem inside a gem? This is the perfect layering necklace. Our one-of-a-kind Medallion pendant features a Portuguese cut blue quartz in the center of the Chalcedony stone. This is a bold piece of jewelry! The center bezel holding the Blue Quartz is handmade and welded to the Argentium silver back piece. This is totally 100% hand carved and handmade by us! We do not think we've seen the marriage of faceted gemstone & cabochons together in one piece before. This is totally 100% handmade pendant. We used Chalcedony cut into a 32mm or 1 1/8" circle. Total length with bail is 1 1/2 inches. We accented the pale blue of the chalcedony with an 11.25mm Royal or Electric Blue Quartz that is simply stunning in the Portuguese cut. No glue is used in the assembly of this pendant. We used 16-gauge silver and handmade the bezel surrounding the Chalcedony circle. The bail is also handmade and soldered on. We left a very large bail opening to accommodate a very wide chain. We are including the 18-inch 2mm sterling wheat chain with lobster claw clasp. |
