Electric Blue Topaz necklace is a statement necklace weighing 21 carats of unbelievably vivid Blue topaz! The cut was designed by us and is a one-of-a-kind, custom cut. The top of the cut is a checker board pattern. Every position brings a different light pattern. For the cut, we started with a Smith bar cut, modified the cut to produce a wider brilliance pattern and adding 14 additional facets.

We fashioned the bar links by hand to mimic the stone cut pattern. Connecting jump rings, extension chain and lobster claw style clasp are Argentium silver. This is a substantial piece, weighing 28.41 penny weights. We tension set the stone in our channel setting, which we feel gives this a sleek and modern look and can be worn by a man or a woman.

The inspiration is from the Cubism art style, created by Pablo Picasso. Cubism was the first abstract style of modern art. Cubism was one of the most influential visual art styles of the early twentieth century.
